1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
Forgefit is designed to work entirely on your device. The app does not require account creation or login. The only personal information we may receive is what you voluntarily provide when contacting us for support, such as your name and email address.
Information Stored on Your Device
All data you enter in the Forgefit app — including your name, workout history, training plans, schedule preferences, and personal records — is stored locally on your device using your device's secure local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
This includes:
- Your display name (entered during onboarding)
- Workout logs, sets, reps, and weights
- Training plans and schedule configurations
- Personal records and progress data
- App settings and preferences
Automatically Collected Information
We do not use analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or advertising trackers in the Forgefit app. We do not automatically collect device identifiers, IP addresses, location data, or usage statistics.
2. How We Use Your Information
Because Forgefit stores all data locally on your device, we do not process or use your workout data in any way. The only information we may use is:
- Support communications: If you contact us at hello@forgefit.tech, we use your name and email address solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share this information with third parties.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond providing the app and support services.
3. Data Storage and Security
All workout data is stored locally on your iOS device using AsyncStorage, a secure local key-value storage system. This data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including iOS data protection and device encryption.
Because your data is stored locally, it is subject to your device's backup settings. If you back up your device to iCloud or iTunes, your Forgefit data may be included in that backup. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.
If you delete the Forgefit app, all locally stored data will be permanently removed from your device.
4. Third-Party Services
Forgefit does not integrate with third-party advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers.
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain information as part of the distribution and payment process, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you contact us via email, your communication is handled through standard email services (Gmail). Google's privacy policy applies to those communications.
5. In-App Purchases
Forgefit offers an optional Pro subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. Forgefit Technologies LLC does not collect, store, or process your payment information. For details on how Apple handles payment data, please review Apple's Privacy Policy.
Subscription status is verified locally through Apple's StoreKit framework and is not transmitted to our servers.
6. Children's Privacy
Forgefit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@forgefit.tech and we will promptly delete it.
7. Your Rights
Because Forgefit does not collect or store your personal data on our servers, most data rights requests are fulfilled automatically — your data is entirely in your control on your own device.
You have the right to:
- Access your data: All your data is accessible directly within the app at any time.
- Delete your data: Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data from your device.
- Contact us: If you have contacted our support team and wish to have your email correspondence deleted, contact us at hello@forgefit.tech.
If you are a resident of California, the European Union, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, please note that because we do not collect personal data beyond voluntary support communications, most provisions of laws such as CCPA and GDPR do not apply to our standard app usage. For support communication data, we honor all applicable deletion and access requests.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of the Forgefit app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
